A friend of mine, Jacqueline Stoken [also a photographer and one of the Three Women group which shows art work every now and then in Des Moines] and I are traveling for a photo workshop and to add to our many thousands of images [for which we have inadequate time to work with them as it is!]. We flew into Venice today, rented a car and drove to Rovinj, Croatia, where we are staying with Jackie’s extended family and checking out this Mediterranean fishing village during the quiet season.
Unfortunately, today has been a foggy and now rainy day and evening, but I hope that’ll end soon and we’ll have some great shots to share. Not for this entry, however. But we are enjoying the wonderful hospitality and the many historical points in this area…more on that later.
