Today was another photography lesson with Mario and we walked all around the Castello area of Venice, taking pictures of people and places (street photography). In a way, the rainy weather was good for us because it created some interesting reflections. And the cloudy sky evened out the contrasts and forced me (us?) to work harder on composition. But, while Venice can be very interesting even in the rain, in the cold and rain it isn’t as pleasureable.
After lots of walking it’ll be good to pull back and not push so much. I just hope it rains at night and no longer in the daytime.
