One thing I love [of many] about Venice is how even images of everyday things can turn into abstract images. This is just a minor example, an image of a building reflected in almost-still water. I have plenty of images of buildings reflected in the water and when it is really still, it’s as if the picture is upside down. But here the lack of stillness makes the image abstract and the building less recognizable.
