so, I’m over on Giudecca, the island SW of Venice, and walk into the Hilton there and what did I see, a meeting of a Des Moines-based company. I went up to the hospitality personnel and said I was also from Des Moines and they were very gracious and one was clearly from Des Moines [asking if I have relatives in Indianola = which I get asked frequently, the answer is ‘no’] = it was fun to see them after having spent a half month here.
